Another round of rain again! The corps had managed to bring down the lake 2 feet in 5 days and then another 2-3 inches of rain and we are back at 692.90 which is 37.9 feet above flood pool. They are running 5 generators and 17 flood gates open 1 foot which is the equivalent of 8 generators of water. Lots of fish are getting washed over the top of the dam with a 65 pound paddle fish and 50 pound striper being picked up floating. The fish are getting used to the high water on the river with worms eggs and corn catching fish and minnows and shad also working. Use # 7 or 8 sinkers to get to the bottom and 6-10 pound line and hold on! The fish are starting to move into the tree's and are biting swim-baits and crank-baits with floating worms and top-water producing some. Walleye are scattered and biting nightcrawlers trolled on road-ways and parking lots. Remember the P.V.A. trip on June 4-5 come out at the State Park at 11:30 on Monday the 5th of June and thank a Veteran. GOD Bless Tim & Pat!
